Battle Format:

Each dancer will get a predetermined time to dance. Both dancers on opposing sides of the stage will go twice per competitive round. If this is confusing, there are multiple videos on youtube showcasing how this format works. You can look up Floor Wars or Charity Dance Off (make sure to add a convention name or furry dance to the search) to see the format in action. Charity Dance Off is very similar to Floor Wars, with the adaptation of dancers being able to raise money for the convention’s charity. The audience will be able to donate in a dancer’s name virtually, and all proceeds will go towards the con’s charity.  At the end of the competition there will be the tournament winner and the Charity Pick.

Suiter or Non-Suiting:

At a convention at this size, categories between suiters and non-suiters tend to be difficult to balance and make work. Thus, F2 dance events will not be separating the two options. It is up to each dancer whether or not they decide to suit. This being said, it is still encouraged to wear a suit if you’d like. Judges will be asked to keep the restrictions of dancing in a suit in mind when judging.
